We actually prepared in two groups; Cathelijne and Marten prepared together and Alexander and I did. Our way of preparation was quite different, but we came together before the summer to make arrangements.
The idea was to ensure we could split up in Scotland if we felt like doing that. Alexander and the other two didn�t know each other very well before we started making plans to go to Scotland, so we didn�t know how it was going to work out.
I think it�s a very good idea to make sure you are able to split up if necessary. There cam always happen something that causes a break-up in the group, and if you can split up when things are getting tense, you can prevent such a thing
The least you need are enough tents and cooking materials to split up. Useful maps/guides for both groups of course, unless you want to get lost� |
