poison you're blind to her -seeing only her light, fortified beauty she is nothing she is nothing. in time, in time she'll hurt you beyond any devastation you can imagine. she is nothing. what do you see i never saw her as you, she is nothing. Leisa*)
Fire in the Sky sitting in a room, i admire her fortified beauty, the superficial, the skin deep revelations that i witness standing up, i blow out the candle that illuminates the room surrounded by darkness i am not surprised to see that the beauty remains, a beauty far more intense than that which the eyes behold a beauty which reaches the soul and touches the heart there is much more to this package than fancy paper and glittering bows the real beauty lies within she often does not see it she often does not know few have taken the time to show her the beauty that lies within attempting instead to point out imaginary faults and bathing her in jealousy, lies and humiliation these ghosts from her past they haunt her they taunt her desparately trying to force her to relive the lies to agonize she claims that she is nothing, but fortunately i know better, she wonders what i see how can i explain to her? that it is what i do not see that is the source of my love the air that surrounds us, it cannot be seen, but nonetheless without it, we would be nothing to her, i try and explain, that it is the very part of her that cannot be seen that does in fact make her something, the room is still dark, only lit briefly by scattered bolts of lightning...a fire in the sky so similar to the flames of the bridges she is burning the process is slow, the ghosts will still haunt from time to time, but as we keep learning, as we continue to grow that a time not too far distant will surely come when she will realize what it is i see the beauty that the mirror cannot show until that time, i hope that she will let me help her fight her ghosts until that time, i hope that she will remember that i want to be there for her until that time, i hope she will remember how very much i love her
