MOVIES

Here you'll get brief reviews (and very brief), of all the movies I see. Naturaly I'm not going to go all the way back to the begining of time listing movies, but I'll start now, and when I see a new movie, it shall be added. Most current from the top.

Akira

This is a classic, and while browsing through my DVD collection I decided I'd come put up a little review. This semi-cyberpunk adventure is not for the faint of heart, its anime, and its got more blood in it than any other movie I've ever seen. I don't wnat to ruin the story or anything, but thier are all these guns, and motorcyles, and people with psychic powers blowing other people up and flying. Not to mention this movie broke major ground with it's excellent animation, that is still better than average, if not awesome, today. a must see for all anime fans, cyberpunk fans will like this one as well.

Chicago

Went to see this the other day, and I have to say it was thouroughly enjoyable. Its a musical, about some lady who gets in jail, and sings. Yea I know its amazing, everyone knows all the words and everything! I don't know how they all got the practices togther, but I guess thats just how the twenties were. No TV, so we go to everyday msuic rehersal, or something. Regardless, keeps you interested, worth going to the theatre, definatly renting. Boast a couple big name stars: Catherine Zeta-Jones as a fellow singing jail-lady, Richard Gear as a singing lawyer, and Queen Latifa as a singing boss-jail-lady.
