This site makes use of Fluid Layout and does it quite well. The browser can be set to a repetitively small size without any of the content suddenly disappearing. Although it could have been given a point at which it stops shifting if the browser window is a certain size to small.
So, this is the one thing which I can actually compliment this otherwise empty and dull site on. The text on the site uses some random font , which is hard to read. Although, as said above, it does shift about to suit your browser size, but with no limitation to how much it shifts.
The biggest problem with the layout of this site is that it features inappropriately placed animated gif images which serve no purpose whatsoever other than to distract the user from the important content of the site. The site logo is sickeningly designed using Microsoft Word Art, to big and very pixilated. The amount of free space is about 70%, which I find very depressing. It’s sad to see so much background and a some unnecessary images attempting fill empty space.
Thanks to it’s liquid design, if the page is set to 800x600 resolution the page still does not require any annoying side scrolling. But overall the site gets worse, making it’s images and text seem like they are oversized and stretched out. The site looks like it was actually designed at 800x600 resolution, since the page elements look like they have been placed more appropriately, But overall however, this site is depressingly empty.
