Germany was soon to invade the Soviet Union.  The Einsatzgruppen led the Holocaust in these areas, killing many.

Germany's final solution was enacted as the number of prisoners bulged.  Jews, Romas, and others were brought from concentration camps and ghettos to death camps.

Krystallnacht marked a new increase in violence towards German Jews.

In German held territories, such as Poland, Jews and other undesirables were being collected and interned in Ghettos. In Germany, euthanasia of the sick and injured had begun, and the internment of undesired races in concentration camps.
