In the year 3000, high above the stations of the alliance, a phenomenal event occurred that forever made humanity consider the course of their history...

This list is given as a rough guide to the worlds of the Interplanetary Alliance as they stand at the beginning of the stories of Robotech 3000. Each planet is given a brief description (which is highly generalised and condensed for simplicity) as well as listed of its major cities, geographic states, and population.

Earth
A planet filled with cities, yet an information-freak nature pulls 75% of its citizens to the major cities. Major Cities: New Macross City, Neo-Tokyo, London, Brasilia.
Geography: Fertile grounds, mild climate, large oceans (3).
Population: Primarily native-born humans and Zentraedi.

Tirol
An unfertile moon of the planet Fantoma that serves as the largest home for cultural interaction in the Interplanetary Alliance, with all life being in the sole city of Tirolia, a monsterous multi-district city.
Major Cities: Tirolia.
Geography: Unfertile grounds, little altitude variances, no bodies of water.
Population: Primarily native-born Tirolians (22%) and humans (15%).

Kabarra
A planet scattered with small settlements in its various forested areas but best-known for its strictly-policed capitol city, Lron.
Major Cities: Lron, Bagrassa, Kurtone.
Geography: Lush evergreen forests, scattered plains, two central rivers.
Population: Primarily native-born Kabarrans.

New Praxis
The sporting capitol of the Interplanetary Alliance, noted for its people's resistance to centralisation and attention to sisterhood amongst all natives and visitors alike.
Major Cities: New Praxia, Fallen's City, Old Capitol.
Geography: Varied flatlands and craterous turf.
Population: Primarily native-born Praxians and Zentraedi.

Garuda
Well-known for its atmosphere poisonous to foreigners, with a culture of continuously-travelling people and thus, open housing in the planet's main cities.
Major Cities: Jo-Nar, G2, Accentus.
Geography: Scattered unfertile plains and mountain ranges.
Population: Almost exclusively native-born Garudans.

Peryton
Sparsely populated due to superstition, the recent approval of Alliance scientists has begun a resurgence in population of the planet by retired military and off-world born Perytonians.
Major Cities: Discovery Base (IA), New Peryton.
Geography: Fertile savannahs with one central sea.
Population: Primarily IA military forces (various races).

Haydon IV
A technological paradise which's exclusively-city based geography is characterised from ground level to the top of the countless skyscraper buildings.
Major Cities: Haydon City, Haydon City II, Haydon City III.
Geography: No natural geographic formations; exclusively metallic.
Population: Primarily native-born Haydonites and Tirolians.
