In the year 3000, high above the stations of the alliance, a phenomenal event occurred that forever made humanity consider the course of their history...

MECHA

Brent Hawkins' Miner-Mech
[yet to be titled]

Class: Non-Transformable Mining Power Armor
Crew: One pilot.

Speed: 25 MPH maximum running
     40 MPH maximum with thrusters

Description: A relatively clumsy mech that is not designed for combat. Its large stature is reminiscent more of a Destroid than a Battloid, with hulking arms, legs, and a stationary body. However, the reasons for this build are clear: In the case of this mecha, the design was not to fulfill the needs of a fighter jet or even a variable-use utility mecha--with its slow, clumsy movement comes a strength at least an equal to the largest combat vehicles, despite its smaller height. In the mining colonies of the Interplanetary Alliance, the Miner-Mech is an invaluable tool as a result: Its strong arms are able to easily clear impeding bodies in the confines of cavernous areas, and its legs are powerful enough to be used to pull equipment, broken machinery, and even other mecha back to a place of safety. A goliath of Robotechnology fit into a twenty-foot body, the Miner-Mech is certainly considered a necessary tool in the continued geologic explorations of the Alliance's forces.
A great frontal-view of a utility Miner Mech,
a smaller version of the one described here.
That's Arroq standing in our way...
