Transcriptionist's Notes: I have done my best to record the spoken dialogue in the trailer of Robotech 3000, but alas, it is not perfect: There is about half-of-a-sentence spoken by Lorna in her communication to the Corsair that I simply can't make out. THE SCENE: Captain Noble and Lieutenant Suzy Kramer are on-board the Corsair as the scene opens. Lieutenant Brent Hawkins is communicating to the ship via a video transmission operated by Lorna on the surface of the mining colony. They are joined by Arroq, a Spherisian.

Narrator: At the dawn of a new millenium, Robotechnology allowed an Interplanetary Federation to remain at peace for 600 years. But all that was about to change...
A Proteus Group starship, the Corsair, responds to a distress signal from a remote mining colony.
Hawkins: Good news, Suzy; Arroq has located the miners in shaft 19.
Noble: Any casualties?
Hawkins: They check out fine, captain, but something's got 'em spooked. Its just not right down here.
Kramer: You're telling me. Surface conditions alone can't account for this level of interference.
Noble: Re-establish contact, Lieutenant, then tell Hawkins to get everyone up to the Corsair at once. I don't want any grandstanding down there.
Hawkins: I thought you wiz-kids could operate anything...
Lorna: Its not me or the equipment, Brent. Just give me a minute to figure it out, okay?
Hawkins: Fine, Lorna, but if we're not back when you're reading from the Corsair, stall for time.
--Arroq, let's go check on those miners.
Lorna: You know, when I get the com-link back online and you're not here, Capt--
Arroq: [interrupting] Captain Noble will not be happy.
Hawkins: So what? He's never happy.
Lorna: But Brent...
Hawkins: Its important, Lorna. I'm counting on you.
Lorna: As usual.
Hawkins: Thanks. We won't be long.
Technician: Corsair to landing party: Come back...Corsair to landing party, Corsair to landing party.
Kramer: I'll be the first to admit that Brent is a loose cannon, Creten...Oh, come on, Brent...
Lorna: Corsair, if you are able to receive transmission, be advised we are still processing...
Kramer: What? Lorna...Behind you!
Lorna: ...ETA with Corsair in T-minus 40--[screams] No! No! Get away from me! Brent, help me! Some kind of monster's attacking me!
Hawkins: What? Lorna!...Monster? That's a Veritech Excavator!
Lorna: Just get it away from me! Hurry!
Hawkins: Lorna, get out of the way! [battles with Excavator] ...doesn't make sense!
Lorna: Nobody's gonna believe this. Better get it on video just in case. [screams] Ah! Get away! Brent, help! Careful! Hurry, Brent! Hurry! [screams] Ah!
Hawkins: [catches her with his mecha] Gotcha!
Lorna: That's great, but who's got you?! [screams] No!
Hawkins: We could use a little help here, Arroq...
Lorna: Do you have any idea what's going on here?
Hawkins: One thing at a time--Grab my hand...[reaches] Come on, take my hand!
Lorna: [screams, slips] Ah!
Hawkins: Lorna, no!
Arroq: [catches Lorna] That was close.
Hawkins: 'Knew you'd come in handy, Arroq. Now, let's get out of here. Whatever happened to that mecha could happen to the rest of our gear.
Narrator: Smart machines created through Robotechnology are turning hostile. The fate of the entire universe hangs in the balance. Now it is up to our team of heroes to solve the mystery of their mutating technology before it destroys them all.
