Coming from "the planet of brotherhood," its no surprise that Sergeant Lorna Halliwell is a sensitive young woman with a passion for discovery. Immersed in the science-freak culture of Tirolia, Lorna found herself constantly torn between her home and distant space--in Tirol, where information is exchanged from all reaches of the cosmos, and amongst the stars, where a more-personal level of discovery awaited. Her father, a human freelance scientist, and her mother, a Tirolian record-keeper, encouraged her to follow her own path in life, and at age sixteen, joined the Interplanetary Alliance Science Corps. In her studies, she developed a particular love for geology, and due to her impressive presentation on the paraphysical communications between planetary bodies of the Local Group, was awarded a commission into the Alliance's Science Forces on her seventeenth birthday--a dream come true for a bright-eyed young lady.
