Quick with a joke, cool with a trigger, and smooth behind his mech, Brent Hawkins is a young man whose search for personal fulfillment led him to the Interplanetary Alliance immediately following his traditional schooling on Earth. As a boy, the taunting that he received as a result of his family brought him to the edge on many occasions, as while his classmates had fathers who were in the UEG forces or doctors or scientists, he had no father of which to speak. As a result, Brent now possesses a hairpin temper in the face of anyone who dares tell him what to do. However, his service in the Interplanetary Alliance Mechanical Forces is one that must fight his personality, for though his superiors may not approve of his responses and general disapproval of protocol, it also drives him to prove himself in every endeavour, and as a pilot, he is constantly ranked in the top 100 Alliance mecha pilots listing.
