Christmas Day Bright bows with glitter And brilliant gold paper Evergreen pine trees A cold winter breeze. Covered with tinsel With garland strung 'round 'Baby's First Christmas' More ornaments to please. When the lights dim When the scents fade When all's packed away I'll fondly remember the time that we had Our own special Christmas day.

All Hallows' Eve Dark was the sky And bright was the moon And bright were the children's eyes. The wind in the trees Made a whistling sound The clouds moved across the skies. Anticipation was in the air Of every girl and boy Making their way from house to house For candy or a toy. 'Trick or Treat' you'd hear them say And 'treat' you'd better proffer, Or 'trick' would be the reward they'd give For lack of a proper offer. So next Hallows' eve When the sky grows dark And the children's eyes grow bright. And the wind in the trees Makes a whistling sound And you bitterly shiver in fright- Remember to stock your cupboards well With candy or some toys, Or you'll meet your fate With a trick you'll take From costumed girls and boys.

All Hallows' Eve, Pt. 2 When the moon peeks out From behind the clouds And the wind chills me to the bone. And I see ghosts and goblins In the street And I know I'm not alone. When the doorbell rings And the children sing "Trick or Treat!" with their hands stretched out. I envision their smiles sprawling out for miles Only grins and nary a pout. For I know it's true What they say, they do, And the risk is what's at stake. For on All Hallows' Eve If you make them leave, It's a trick you'll have to take!
