The Truth about Discordians
Discordians have been around for centuries. Itstarted with the worship of Eris, the goddess of discord, in ancient times and possibly even before that. Most creation myths involve the birth of an ordered universe out of pure chaos. Many would like to believe that we are part of the order, which was formed at the beginning of time out of chaos. The truth is, though, that we are part of the chaos itself, and that moving toward order is moving backwards and toward oblivion. What has order gotten us today? We live in a frantic time. It is a time of hatred, of greed, of frantic struggle for order and control. Order is the easy way out for many, and it is a way to profit for others who abuse the system in which we live. Who benefits from order, other than those at the top of the pyramid? Obviously not you or me, because if we did, I wouldn't be writing this and you would be trying to stop this.
The practice of discordianism has been around for thousands of years. The worship of discord, the true creator, has been documented, as well as the movement of many corrupt and evil individuals to end it. The tactic that has been used in recent centuries is the perversion and obfuscation of what discordianism is in the eyes of the people.
If you search for discordianism on the web, you will find, almost entirely, websites filled with pure filth. The truth is that many parties interested in destroying us have created a good number of them. Those who stand against us have turned our faith into a joke. They do their best to confuse those who are truly interested in us, in the hope that true believers will become discouraged, misled, or even help them in their cause. Many people nowadays are following the falsities put out by those interested in our destruction. The Principia Discordia that you will find on the internet is a false one. The text of the real Principia Discordia has almost been completely wiped off of our earth. We are working to piece together the true and original writings. We are far from this ultimate goal, but through connections made and research done, we are beginning to get a glimpse of it's true form and meaning.
