Worship Songs
Here are the worship songs I have written so far. Mostly these spring out of Scripture reading. A verse will strike me and a melody will follow. I hope these draw you closer to the Lord.
You Are Holy
This is a sweet, simple song of praise that makes me think of Black Gospel. In my head I hear it with a soloist and back-up mass choir. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. This recording was done on Power Tracks Pro and I'm singing all the harmonies (wasn't sure if I was going to admit to that or not).

For Your Glory
This is my most well-received song so far. I would love to compare it to Shout to the Lord, because it has a similar feel. We'll see whether it shares any other characteristics.
I have to let you know that in the recording there is a small musical blip before the final chorus. What happened is that the piano player got caught up in the moment and didn't change chords at the right time. It still counts correctly, so ignore that bothersome pianist   (all right, me)

Author of Life
My first song since I seriously started writing, this is a gentle song of worship that looks at God's glory, and then says, "but You still love me."
The first version has an acoustic guitar with some nice finger-style. The second version has the second verse that was not around when the first recording was made.

Holy Spirit, Rest In Me
I conceived of this song a few years back around Pentecost. It is a cry of my heart that the Holy Spirit come fill me every day so I can serve the Lord as I should.
This is a gentle song of worship with a soaring musical interlude. Violin, flute or piano (as in this recording) would all do well.

Eye Has Not Seen
This is a gentle song of praise based on 1 Corinthians 2:9, about the future hope of the believer. This is becoming one of my favorite worship songs that I have written. Wait until you hear the live version - the electric guitar on the brige is absolutely inspired!

By His Stripes
I have been wanting to write a contemporary hymn for some time. My weakness with lyrics makes this particular style of "church" music difficult for me to write. Some time ago a dear lady in our church approached me with some lyrics that she had written, and sure enough, one of the sets of lyrics was well suited for a hymn style.

This is my first vocal record on my computer. It's a little rough, but certainly there's enough there for you to get the idea.

Clap Your Hands
Finally, I present the very first song I ever wrote, all the way back in 1998. I apologize that I do not have the sheet music available for download at this time. If you really want to use this song, e-mail me and I will scan in what I have.
This is a praise song in the traditional Hosanna style. I hope someday to record it with a larger instrumentation and maybe a choir.
