| Day in April 2000 This will be my first weekend report and I am very curious if I will be able to update you every once in a while I have the feeling that I have been sleeping, working and travelling and that's it. Last weekend I have been in the museum city of Belgium, better know as Bruges. Beautifull city where just about are missing the little cards on the street, not to disbehave otherwise you will be removed from the proporty. It was rather amazing that although they have very small streets, squares and allies, they are able to drive with public transport busses through bobbling streets and an average busdriver must have massage once a week to discover from working there. We went for dinner and they rip you off by advertising rates on their little bill boards which you won't find inside on the menu. On the market you are confronted with a number of restaurants, ten in a row, who look differently but all have the same way of trying to get people inside. Nightlife in Bruges was suprising you could say. There was one gay-cafe (Passe-partout) and believe it or not, quite full at Saturday evening with a mix crowd of local queens and English tourists. Walk in a gay-cafe and stand their with your 1.98 above everybody and you have all the attention of the world. Met David and Clive from Birmingham, mid-30 couple. David was quiet cute and I was totall speachless when he appeared 36 instead of end twenties what I thought. Big problem was that bf had his eye focussed on me, my mistake I had smiled at him. David was much more interesting though he had a belly but his eyes and smile were very cute and sexy. Since I am not available for trio's, our little chat and flirt was clatched to the bar. Music was nice though and other objects, oh sorry locals, were very hard to explain to, that not everybody longed for a shag in the dark room. BRUGGE My Sunday was like a city tour when we left our Crowne Plaza later that morning to take the ferry back to main land Holland. We took the ferry at Breskens and had waited for 40 minutes. Vlissingen was overcrowed with people to see ships, sun and sea. The next part was lost when Geocities deleted my pages last September. So by clicking the next diary, you will be lifted in time to December 2000.. |
