| Rob Mystery Diaries part XI |
I decided to have in drink in the city in one of the only bars still open, Open Cafe, situated in the middle of Le Marais. My entry was blocked by two blokes offering visitors a warm smile and sweeties which I declined as my stomach was already playing up. With my beer I landed at one of the sofas facing partly the counter as well as a set of televisions broadcasting MTV show where crazy dudes do very crazy stuff especially for US- people. Then he showed up with his formal boyfriend and the first thing I saw where his very light coloured pants knowing it was soaking wet outside and nobody wore any colours like that, I decided they had to be Americans.. At the other side of the bar there showed up a guy showing interested in them as one of them turned his back on that guy. I decided that it would be a nice opening line to tell him that it was not very nice to do so when all of a sudden he showed up next to me, curious what I was laughing about on television and bingo, contact was born. He is so cute that it is very difficult to describe what I felt when we spoke more and more. His streaming accent of combination of American and English in combination of a beautifull smile and eyes, did I mention his name, Garth. Yes, for all of you non-English ones, you have to speak a few times, I did as I did not understand him correctly in the crowdy bar. Meanwhile his ex-boyfriend was captured by the guy and I discovered that Garth had been keeping an eye on me for some time and I didnt notice since I normally have others telling me that. Garth and I talked all evening and he made my stomach go up side down not to bother you with the rest of my body... For all of you who thought I would tell you all the details of our Christmasromance, you are out of luck as I do keep some privat life. I will tell you a little about what happend on the other days in Paris. I will not bother you with the feeling of waking up in his strong big arms and a wett noice of Basil and Sybill (dogs) next to the matras where we were sleeping. They looked at me like, what is this? mostly because there were no space for them on the matras. We spend together with Nathalie and Adrian (ex-boyfriend Garth) a wonderfull and rainy Boxing Day with a real Christmas Diner. Nath and myself decided to walk from The Montmartre, where Garth was staying to the centre which was a refreshing walk and the rain stopped as we walked into the city enjoying Paris at night. Our second Christmas Day we were joined by Garth and was situated in the Montmartre were Nath and I were put into the Art Gallery of fast-drawing although my poster could have been anyone, Naths was really beautifull with blue and yellow colours and she smiling and smiling at the temporary admirer. We walked down the hill along the small stairs and shops to the Opera, where we took a look in the lobby and walked further to the Seine where Garth and I settled for a very romantic stroll along the Seine and Nath walked somewhere in front of us, wondering why there were so many men on that piece of quay (it happened to be partly cruising zone...) Next day Nath and I took a visit at Pere La Chaise ( I think) and wondered along the graveyards and saw Morrison, Piaf, Wilde and Signoret. That last evening we spend with Garth and his friends and took a real French diner in a petit little restaurant in Le Marais. Yes, Paris was wonderfull indeed...! |
