| I am not a big fan of musicals, and was reluctant to see this movie, however, the way this movie intertwined plot and muscial numbers kept my interest. Most musicals I have seen seem to have asides that are not always so related to the plot. However, This movie did not have the same kind of elaborate creative ideas of Moulin Rouge, but was fun to watch just the same. Nor was I a big fan of the actor's/actresses that played the parts of the main characters. I can't really express why they just kind of irritated me. My favorite part was when Roxie (Renee Zellweger) acted as Billy's (Richad Gere) puppet. Another favorite was the song and dance when the prisioners described their convictions. This movie was something I would not have chosen myself, but was glad I saw. Would I recomend it though? Naaa, probably not. :-) -Bobby- |
