| There's an advantage to buying a PC from a builder like Dell or Gateway or or or. Something goes wrong with it before warranty is up, call tech support, wait on hold for forEVER and they'll replace the part (even send a tech in some cases). Some companies will answer general silly tech questions for the life of the computer. There's very little they can offer you that you can't do yourself if you build it yourself. For some people, a pre made computer is worth it, they just want the damn thing to work.. On paper, it's a good deal. Til you have to call tech support (unless you're lucky..) If you can figure out how to drive a car, you should have no trouble following the information in this link. |
