Keith earned the honor for a second week for his outstanding goaltending in the shoot-out win on Friday (10-1) against the Springfield Spirit in Springfield. The shoot-out went to 9 shooters, and Keith denied all but one of the Spirit shooters.Keith's hobbies include music, playing the guitar and songwriting. The Booster Club Player of the Week ending 9-26-04 is Keith Longo. Keith is a first year, 19 year old Goalie standing 5'11" tall and weighing 170 pounds. He is from Hopedale, MA and is a graduate of Cushing Prep School. Keith was the starting goalie in both season opening games on the road against the Santa Fe Roadrunners. Keith stopped 54 shots in the first game on 9-25, and stopped 42 shots in the second game on 9-26, and received 2nd star in the second game. Coach Trevor Converse called his performance during this weekend "unbelievable". Keith's hobbies include music, playing the guitar and songwriting. His favorite foods are pasta, steak, chicken and salads. On playing in Texas, Keith misses his family but likes being here and the experience of playing away from home. Texas weather is also great. |
