| I am a 27 year-old student in the Graduate History Program at Vanderbilt University. I am a native of North Carolina, born in the foothills and raised in Charlotte. I am a Christian, and am very interested in theology and missions. I speak Spanish and am learning Portuguese I love many things, particularly my lovely wife. I also love history, of any sort, and I'm currently studying Latin American history at Vandy, where I just received my Master's degree. I am fanatical about genealogy, and have collected a whole bunch of information about our ancestors. |
| When we first moved to Nashville, I worked in the export department at a company called ArvinMeritor. Before moving, I taught high school Spanish for 2 years. Since the Fall of 2001 I have been teaching again, at College Heights Christian Academy in Gallatin, TN. I was also born in North Carolina, but I consider myself to be from nowhere and everywhere. This is because I am an MK, (Missionary Kid), and have grown up in many different countries. I like to read, especially historical fiction. For hobbies, I like to sew, to ride motorcycles, (although I don't get to ride much anymore), and to cook. I like Latin American music and culture, and keeping in touch with my friends all around the world. I also like Swedish things. I'm 1/4 Swedish, and my name is the provincial flower for Smaland, Sweden. |
