Another place to get useful tips would be at Online Tech Tips. On their site you can learn various functions of a computer and how to adjust things on it to make operations more simple!
If you don't feel like researching the internet for tips, you can get them emailed to you directly from a place called Gizmo's Freeware. Just type in your email address and they will send you tech tips in your email!
