The Real World San Diego House is a 10,328 sq. ft. building in Point Loma that was formerly occupied by The Blue Crab restaurant. The Blue Crab went out of business in January 2002. After the restaurant, a marine supply company occupied the building. During the filming of the show, a volleyball court and basketball hoop were set up in the parking lot. They also constructed a fence around the perimeter of the property with "Restricted Access" signs.
