Robin Hood Way31 October 2004 Chris Thompson, the designer of The Robin Hood Way, led a Notts C.C. walk of about 12 miles on a section of the route locally to myself. It started from Thieves Wood car park, travelling to Newstead Abbey, Ravenshead, Blidworth, Fountaindale, before returning to Thieves Wood.
