        ROBINETT'S  CAPRINES

NUBIAN DAIRY  GOATS
Robinett's Caprines started in the late '70's in Sonoma County California with Recorded Grades as a 4-H project.
We showed open both locally and nationally and participated in ADGA programs being on continuous DHIR for over 10 years and participating in appraisal. In 1992 we had the first ADGA recorded Grade National Champion Robinett's Caprines Spring, in 1993 she was named Supreme Total Performer at California State Fair. Another high point in our showing was in 1997 when we had Supreme Best Three females at Sonoma County Fair.
In December of 1997 we moved from California to Dover Arkansas which is located in the north central part of the state at the base of the Ozark mountains, with 40 head of goats. We have continued to breed the same style of Dairy Goat as before using mainly California animals in our breeding program.
We continue to show both locally and nationally trying to hit about 6 shows a year.
In 2006 we finished championships on 3 does and 1 buck. We were also able to again attend the ADGA National show where we placed 3rd in the Nubian Get of Sire Class with Robinett's Caprines Come Again.
Unfortunatly we lost ROBINETT'S CAPRINES ZIG ZAG in September of 2006, and she will be greatly missed. We are however lucky to have her two beautiful bucks Robinett's Caprines Destiny and Robinett's Caprines Buccaneer who we will have many off spring from this year.
2007 we finished championships on 3 does Robinetts Caprines Loveable, Contreau and Moonbeam.
Unfortunatly we lost our beloved Peppermint in August 2007 who will miss however we have 2 beautiful daughters Sweet tart and Carmelo.
In 2003 at the ADGA Nationals Robinett's Caprines Annisette was 2nd place 4 year old with 2nd place udder.
We have not been on DHIR since moving here but do hope to again some day when we have more time, but we do continue to appraise yearly.
Our Does are fed Alfalfa hay, a good quality grass hay and 16% horse feed for a good balance of vitamins and minerals. The milkers are raised separately from the kids and graze an 8 acre pasture.
The kids are raised on a CAE preventive program being feed a colostrum replacer and pasturized milk. They are fed a decox grain till they are 6 months old then they get sweet feed, they eat the same alfalfa hay and grass hay as the milkers and they graze a 1 1/2 acre pasture.
The Bucks are feed a small amount of sweet grain and alfalfa hay and get free choice grass hay since they are not on acreage. All the animals get Purina goat minerals and sweetlix goat blocks free choice.
Our animals are priced reasonably and a $50.00 deposit will hold any available animal till it is born. The balance do when the kid is born.
All shipping will be at buyers expense. The airline would be American and they would fly out of Fort Smith Regional Airport, and must be before it gets hot!
2007 kids will start to arrive the end of Febuary thru May.
We will be freshening about 32 does this year and will be retaining only about 15 milkers. We will be selling many 1st freshening 1 and 2 years olds as they freshen  from $250 up. I will be updating the information on which milkers will be available as they freshen, so keep checking back.
We have started kidding and now have both doe and buck kids for sale, both Nubian and Boar percentages, and a few Milkers. Email us for more details.
