This year's event had three categories in which the contestants could compete. There were very worthy contenders in each one of them. Category A: One pumpkin with no decoration other than carving and, if desired, a candle or light bulb inside. Category B: One pumpkin, decorated in any way and using any materials desired. Category C: A set of more than one pumpkin, decorated in any way and using any materials desired. |
Este a�o se pod�a concursar en cualquiera de las tres categor�as. Hubo trabajos muy hermosos en cada una de ellas. Categor�a A: Una sola calabaza natural, vaciada y cortada, sin m�s adorno que el dise�o cortado y, si se desea, una vela o un foco adentro. Categor�a B: Una calabaza natural, decorado para Halloween utilizando cualquier t�cnica. Categor�a C: Una maqueta de m�s de una calabaza, todas naturales, decoradas para Halloween utilizando cualquier t�cnica. |

La licenciada Pilar Cheh�n, Jefe del Departamento de Ingl�s, contribuy� con la siguiente calavera: Presurosa, la calaca al Cenlex, se dirigi� para buscar a la g�era que organiza tal fest�n �D�nde andas, Robin linda? la flaca pregunt�. �Aqu� tienes mi calabaza! Dame el premio y me voy. Robin, sabia -- sin embargo -- ni siquiera se inmut� y con fina altaner�a a la "Huesos" replic�: "Los premios son pa' los vivos, t� no puede competir, vete ahora, flaca loca, no me intentes seducir." La huesdua, enajenada no comprende tal ritual. Calabazas no le gustan �Mejor dulces pa' ofrendar! |
