So back to energy. If you take the theory of "God" being made of pure electricity, like in the movie Powder, as mentioned before. Add in our "everlasting soul", also arguably defined as electricity, also mentioned before. And now add in another popular theory in many religions, most commonly known from Buddhism as karma but also known by other names in other religions. The flow of positive and negative energy within one's own life. Just like a battery, energy must flow. If you hook a wire to only one side of a battery, nothing happens. The energy has to have flow, out one side of the battery, and in the other. If we convey good energy, good energy will flow back to us. Exude negative energy, negative energy will come. No matter what you call it, our luck, fate, karma, or whatever, is just the flow of energy through everything we know.

Now I didn't even look for a place to link this to, but if your unsure of anything I'm talking about here, please look it up. But if you take any form of energy wave we understand, like light or sound for example, and look at how they react with other waves. Its pretty interesting and complex stuff. Two waves meeting each other, can add to each other, take away, redirect, change or even cancel each other. I think that our energy most likely reacts the same way to most every influence in our lives. Not only does our karma flow with the give and take of good and evil, but we each have our own spiritual energy, or soul that has its own frequency, or vibration rate as well. And modern science and medicine are just now starting to explore the hows and whys of these influences. For example, for years, the use of incense or aroma therapy was only truly believed to be for mere pleasure or some ill perceived "hocus pocus". Yet now days there are respected studies showing the effects of scent on every from physical and mental healing, to its effects on consumers in the urban marketplace. And it dosn't stop there. Color, sound and even temperature are all known to have powerful influence on a number of levels. Ask anyone in marketing, retail management, advertising, . . . one of the things that are considered commonly known, (but under appreciated in my opinion) the sale of any given item can be greatly increased simply by adding the color red to its packaging. These effects have been documented for years now. But only recently have I started seeing studies on why. And most of those studies, sadly, are only from the marketing point of view. Its not about better understanding ourselves, its about how to manipulate others into spending their money.

Their are many religions tho, that have acknowledged for years, the effects of changing the lighting, sound, or scent in your environment, for altering the mood or spiritual wellness of one's self. It is my specific belief, that it is the energy waves that you change, by introducing these things into your environment, that in turn effect your own vibration rate and again in turn, your moods, feelings, or even karmic flow.
