On my plane trip I was sitting next to some Desis who had relatives in Hong Kong
and were planning to take a transit Visa. So i decided to go out too.
This is in the train that takes you to Hong Kong Central Station.
I thought that the train was pretty cool.

I am just walking around.
I have my heavy bag on one shoulder. hence the tilt.
Hong Kong is the home to Cathay Pacific. The HK Int airport is supposed to be an engineering marvel
because the whole thing is built to float on water.
Until the last minute you feel like you are almost landing on water.

I landed in malaysia, and was wondering what to do for the next 9 hours
Apparently lot of students going back home on the same route were wondering the same thing.
So we got together and got a guided tour.

You would think that a sultan is for life,
but here, the sultan changes every five years or something. i thought that that was very curious.
Here is where i dropped a 50 Ringit note which flew into a drain.

This is supposed to be some famous cricket pitch. looked quite small to me.
The KL Tower. we can go to the top on this one.
you cant do that in the Petronas towers.

Apparently, when they got independence, they wanted to emulate the success of the US.
