| This family begins with W. R. and Susan Carter Caton. The family moved to Texas from Tennessee abt 1844. W. R. fought during the Civil War and reached the title of Major. They had five daughters and three sons. Most of the children moved away from Red River County, but one daughter and one son stayed. Generation I |
