The Carries

Robfest fans will be pleased to hear the new line up changes, Slayer are out, and the Carrie's are in! Slayer guitarist and vocalist, Quentin Davis, said to one of our ROBFEST reporters "We were forced to drop out of Robfest this year, as soon as we saw the line up we thought 'shit, how the fuck can we compete with the likes of Lander and the Jackovs?' We knew we were utter poop compared to the likes of such talented hardcore metal heads, so we pretended to have syphilis so we would not lose our reputation as the shittest punk band in the world". With the unsurprising fall of this wannabe punk band, we finally found a band that are capable of supporting the mighty mighty Lander.... The Carries. Named after the Queen of anal herself, The Carries were born in the Summer of '79, and are one of the greatest punk bands to grace New Jersey, were they grew up. They supported such bands as "The Randall Solo Project", and the matster of hardore thrash death black metal himself, "James Brown". They had their big break in '85, after the release of the single, "Kill all the Hespanic men". This made its debut at number 2 in the charts, behind Gay Dad's "Im a Gay Dad". After this, The Carrie's found themselves invited to the '87 Reading Festival, where they made the controversial announcement that their bassist was gay. This made the next couple of years very tough for The Carries and they were forced to take a break, however, knowing they could rely on their true fans, they played a comeback gig in '93 at the biggest stage of their carers, Soho Arena. The 250,000 + outdoor venue was sold out in a day, and the Carries played the performance of their lives. After this, the Carrie's were firmly established as one of the greatest bands ever, and are determined to proove that they're worthy of such praise at this years Robfest. Their set list will include their new singles, "Dora the Explorer" and the 10 minute epic "I've got VD". The Carries have yet to confirm rumours that their drummer is retarded.
