* Tea tree oil repels lice, but only if head isnt already infested
*If you get lice, cover hair in mayo. Comb through with lice comb. Cover the head and scalp in plastic wrap for 15 mins (tightly). After 15 mins, comb through again and then shampoo.
Leave a can of beer open until it is flat. Pour 1/2 cup of beer into a spray bottle. Spray on towel-dried, shampooed hair before blow-drying or curling. The odor will be gone quickly!
If you ever run out of hairspray, try dissolving a tablespoon of sugar in a glass of hot water. Put in spray bottle and use as hairspray. It works just as good, but watch out for bees!!!
Pour half a can of coke (at room temp) through hair. Let sit a few mins. Then shampoo and condition like normal.
Blend an avocado with an egg yolk. Work mix through hair, making sure each strand is covered well. Leave on a min. of 15 min. Rinse with lukewarm water, then shampoo.
Mix 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise with a tablespoon of honey.Apply to dry hair. Leave on 15-20 mins. Sit in the sun or use a hairdryer. Rinse with seltzer water to get out residue. Shampoo and condition as normal.
