| 02/06/2002 Well, I'm back working on the site, i deleted all other entries on the update page because well..... they sucked. I have found myself now everytime I come in to work I do three things before anything else, I check www.dsmtalk.com, then i jump to mia.dsm.org and then i check www.off-topic.net, its like I'm hooked, i dont know, go figure. Since last update I have managed to get new wheels, 17x7.5, look just like Konig Tantrums, although not as expensive, they were $820 with tires, which are 215/45/17s, pretty good deal I thought, I got them at La Gomera, at Hialeah. I've also started venting the BOV to the atmosphere, sounds a lot harder now, but idle gets a little messy when i let off the gas. This week I have planned to finally put the camber kits on, I have had them sitting at my house for about 3 months now, also align the car and work on the brakes which need immediate attention. I heard that there is an event at Morosso next 17th of February, I will try to go, I should be able to make it. I've taken the vynil from the windshield off, and the car looks a lot cleaner. I am however, having a lot of vibrations coming from the engine bay, the alternator is vibrating too, i gotta get that looked at. I gotta go now, my boss-lady is on my back "like stains on a matress" (now where did i get that from???). |
| 02/14/2002 Happy Valentine's Day! Now with that said, Valentine's suck. I went last saturday to install the camber kits, and align the car, everything went perfect UNTIL i drove off, after about half an hour of driving I -noticed that the car WAS aligned, but the steering wheel was off-center, so I have to go back this saturday again to have the guy fix it, also the brakes, I gotta take care of them, my rotors are so warped that even at 10mph when I brake, it makes my leg shake like its giving me a massage. I am trying to decide about just getting them done or ordering PowerSlot rotors from www.roadraceenginnering.com . Well, next update should be next week, so stick around. |
| 07/2002 Obviously the update didnt come in a week. I was fired from work, and then soon after that the car started giving me trouble, I've been fixing it little by little, but now I'm in desperate need of a new clutch, after a few new mods the stocker couldn't take it anymore, so i'm probably getting an ACT2600, check the MODs section for new mods and pictures, also the New Pictures section for the 97-99 front bumper change. |
