In order for u to be able to do this u must have replace the factory air box with a cone or any other tipe of open element air filter.
Basically, that black rubber-like hose is it, i went to Pepboys and got a 18" carburator hose, and ran it from the hole that is on the side fender in the engine, just to the left of the air filter(when u remove the factory airbox, a hole is uncovered), to the side of the stock intercooler, through the outside, as u can see in the picture.
In the picture above u can see it clearly where it starts, in the fender hole, and then all the way down to the side of the intecooler, u might wanna clamp it or hold it with something, so that when u hit a bump, it wont slide down or anything, i felt a pretty good difference, and gained 2psi in 2nd gear and up, its kinda like ram air, and its cheap, like 10 bucks. Hope it helps |
