Expressions
Expressions
Overview
The expression schemas allow data modelers to describe mathematical expressions using the EXPRESS language. When expressions are modelled according to these schemas, it is possible to exchange these expressions using STEP's physical file format (ISO 10303-21).
Communicating via the web
In order to convey the contents of the PLIB expression schemas, several files have been made available on this web-site.
- expressions.gif
- This file shows an EXPRESS-G representation of both the iso13584_expressions_schema and the generic_expressions_schema. This image is viewable on-line, but requires scrolling due to the large size of the image.
- expressions.ps
- This file contains a 600dpi postscript version of the EXPRESS-G diagram. If you have the capability of printing 8.5x11" postscript files at 600 dpi, this image can serve as a road map to help navigate the on-line version "expressions.gif".
- expressions.vsd
- This is the source document for the above two images. It was generated using the EXPRESS-G template in Visio Professional version 5.0, but the file has been saved in Visio version 4 format. This image is intended to be plotted on ANSI E-size paper (34x44 inches).
- expressions.exp
- This ASCII file contains the long-form EXPRESS for the iso13584_expressions_schema.
