| My father is Scots/Irish, born in Larne, Ireland and my mother is English, born in Grantham England. I am first generation American in my family as I was born in Seattle Washington, USA during a 3 year move to the US but moved back and was raised in England. My two older sisters and one younger brother were all born in England. We moved here as a family in 1979 and have lived in Cincinnati ever since. | ||||||||||
| I started playing the bagpipes in 1996 with the Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes and Drums, as bagpipes was something I had always enjoyed. I quickly got deeply involved with the band becoming the Quarter Master and Drum Major. I later became President, which I held for a number of years, currently I am the Business Manager for the Band and still the Quarter Master and Drum Major. I am also the piper for the Clermont County Sheriff and the Loveland Symmes Fire Department.
Through the band I met my wife who was a Highland Dancer, for the Cincinnati Highland Dancers. We now have two children, 4yr old girl named Cameron and 2 yr old boy named William. |
