| At the end of March, an interesting situation presented itself... my parents were going to be in LA... near his parents. We decided that this would be as good a time as any to "meet the parents." We had dinner with Robert's parents the first night. The second day we picked up Robert and our parents exchanged greetings as we piled into the car to head up to my sister's house in Ventura. Robert stayed at my auntie's with us that night and I dropped him off the next day... right after Robert asked my dad's permission to marry me.
