Every year, Robert's old Boy Scout troop comes down to San Diego to spend a weekend playing on the water. I went up with Robert to meet his good friend Everett. I didn't intend on staying, but ended up camping in the back of my truck and playing on the water. Kayaking was a lot more fun than I thought and the weather was beautifu. No pictures of me though... I'm the one that had the camera ;-) |

Robert was in the water every chance he got... except when he was playing some game with miniatures, dice, and tape measures. (Can you tell that's not "my thing.") Anyways, I did get a lot of reading and napping done. I even attempted to paint a miniature... I think I'll stick to reading and sleeping. It was a pain in the butt... and all I was painting was a pair of fairy wings... |
