ROBERT LOWELL GOLLER
Robert Lowell Goller was named Town Historian in Aurora, New York January 8, 2007. He is currently the editor of The Orchard Park Press and is the former editor of the East Aurora Advertiser. He began his journalism career in East Aurora in 1987, when at age 11 he began publishing Goller�s Gazette, a small newspaper that served the Hamlin Park neighborhood of East Aurora, N.Y. for seven years. He graduated in 1998 from Geneseo State College, where he served as editor-in-chief of the student newspaper, The Lamron, and received the 1998 President�s Cup Award for academic and extracurricular achievement.

After college, Goller was a reporter for
The Daily Messenger in Canandaigua before becoming editor of Warsaw�s Country Courier in Wyoming County, N.Y. at the age of 23. He was named editor of the East Aurora Advertiser and Elma Review in August 2003.

Goller has won a handful of awards from the New York Press Association for his writing and photography, including first prize for editorial writing in 2000.

He is active at the First Spiritualist Temple of East Aurora, where he serves as organist, vocalist, music coordinator, youth minister and on the board of directors. Goller also plans to pursue studies to become an ordained minister.
