This dining room table is shown in African Padauk, which is a reddish-maroon color that is traditionally known as vermilion wood.  The table is extendible with three leaves and has a lazy susan built-in on top.  It can be made in many different woods.  Alternatively, the base could be made to go with a glass round top, or with a marble top (see below).
The base of the table consists of 4 split turnings.  The eight stems are connected near the mid-section by a "cloud motif" bar as well as a criss-crossed brace on top.

Walnut Shelves
This ensemble was made from Walnut and marble.  The table measures 60" in diameter, but can be made in different sizes.  The table top could also be granite, glass or wood.
