On January 7, 2009 Rob’s daughter Kimberly Apple gave birth to her third child, a son, Angelo Robert Deon Libby.

 

Sophia, Rob’s wife is now 38 weeks pregnant…

 

 

Today, February 5, 2009 was the first spring-like day, the temperature rose close to 40 degrees F. Yippeh!

 

December 2008

 

A big THANK YOU to the Richards from Minnesota for donating a whole box of clothes and Winter boots to the kids on the reservation. The clothes and boots are being distributed by grandma Phyllis White Bear. We tried to get some photos of the first 3 kids who got new boots but they ran off so quickly, obviously afraid we would take the boots again, that the photos turned out too blurryJ Again, THANK YOU! Before receiving the boots these kids were running around in the snow with no socks and summer sandals!

 

Uncle John Dubray went to Norway with the One Spirit group and loved it!

 

Rob is going down to the reservation to fix his oldest daughters car transmission (put in a different transmission,) take the grandkids sleigh riding and pick up Grandma for Christmas.

 

 

 

November 2008

 

Sophia, Rob’s wife, is 26 weeks pregnant. The doctor put her on light duty upon which her work at Children’s Care Hospital and School put her on unpaid leave as “they don’t provide light duty for pregnant women.”

 

Kimberly, Rob’s daughter is 28 weeks pregnant, Rob sent some clothes for her two kids, as it is very cold on the rez, people are out of propane, electricity and some are snowed in without water and food. If anyone wants to send warm clothes to Kimberly’s kids (both boots size 10 and clothes 5T, one boy, one girl) here is her address:

Grandma moved back to Martin, her health is getting better. Keep her in your prayers!

 

Diane has a place of her own now and also has a car!
