HISTORY - Kernodle started painting human figurative pieces in 1999, and evolved through a number of different phases - These two pieces represent one short phase where he focsed on monochromatic canvases - He spent approximately thirty to forty hours (hands on) for each painting, spread over several months, where he built up multiple layers of transluscent metalic paints to create these deceptively minimal-looking figures - These are hand painted, one of a kind, original works - No copies
