Copyright

"Copyright" means that ONLY the artist can make copies of the artist's images. Anybody else MUST get permission to copy the artist's images. Permission to copy is granted by paying the artist a license fee. This is called "licensing images for use".

Image license fees vary, depending very specifically on the exact intended use. Factors that determine license cost include:  type of publication, prominence of image visibility, size of image, number of copies, length of time used.

Industry standard rates are clearly established for exact uses, and these are the standard rates that apply to licensing fluidism images from Robert Kernodle, their producer. Contact [email protected] to explore exact rates for specific uses.

Using fluidism images without paying the appropriate license fee is illegal, violating their producer's copyright. This means that judicial action can be taken to recover costs of using images, plus legal expenses for recovering these costs.

Fluidism images are for commercial use. This is the art business of fluidism, the art.
