well a wholeeeee lot of shit happened today ill start out by talkign about how we went to the great wall of china ok here goes we went to the great wall of china this morning it was like an hour drive but thats ok i just lisented to return to srenity almost the whole way (fav song...that and always )so yah we get there and the traffic is horrible its gonna take like two hours to get through the traffic so dad decides we should walk ... save time ... yah ok well im sure it did but it was quite a ways and viv got really tired(viv=dads gf)her feet were hurting her so we found a place where we could take a gondala(cable car) the rest of the way to the great wall we do that and its bascilly like a ski lift only its a little ball with a glass window that closes around you its summer time in beijing so its a little warm in there plus we had just been walking for some ways so it was fairly uncomfortable well somehow dad ended up sitting in the middle and when the thing closed he started to feel cluasterphobic and he really started to hate it well when we get out he says hes not oging to ride it on the way down ok we figure no big deal vivs feet are still tired and if youve ever been to the great wall its kinda a hard walk it goes up and down alot and curves lol ok well someways into it she decides shes too tired to go on so we decide to leave her there we dont think were going very far supposedly the highest point on the wall is not to far so we go there and thats where the restored partof the wall ends after that its all rubble and pieces of brick with some parts of outposts and a lil bit of wall standing a and then we see some ppl going out there in order to get there you had to climb over the railing of the wall (its kinda like a wall itself) then once on the other side your a good ten feet up and right below you is barbwire(lovely feeling) well to get to the run down part of the wall you have to walk along this ledge (its like 3 to inches wide) around the corner of the outpost then you have to climb down a fence meant to keep ppl out you can tell they want to keep ppl out by the bid lovely sharp spikes they put on top of the fence well we climbed down than and afgter that you just have to jump over some barbwire and we were there ( note to ppl if you ever go to the great wall you must do this you are missing the best parts if you dont) well we get to where we can see whats left of the wall and its a huge pile of rocks pretty much ( i got some pieces of the great wall for my freinds as suviners)well not only do you now have to walk across all these rocks but due to how the wall goes up and down and the enormus varity in the size of the rocks you have to climb like actually climb down the wall well we got to the first outpost after a lil ways (most ppl that left the restored section stopped there and went back)there is nothing left of this place but like a door and half a wall lol and the doors arch is missing the keystone lol well from there we went on (climbing on our hands a knees the whole way mind you) to the next out post here there wasnt much but flat surface and some oices of the railing or wall of the outpost(not sure) so i climb up and sit there for a pic lol ok we hang out there awhile cuz were just a wee bit tired and we dont know what were going to do well we see another out post quite a ways out and this has part of the second floor intact i tell dad it would be awesome to take a pic of him up there so he goes over there thinking there wont be a way up ( there wasnt really) but before he gets there these three guys make it up there first they look around for awhile then disapear from view and reappear on the second floor omg wtf well dad went over there stood on the second floor and i took his pic from a hell of a long ways off then i go over there and i find theses guys or monkeys i should call them well they used the detriorated sections of the wall to climb up there so i climb up there too ok right about the time i get up there i get this incredible feeling i get up there and as far as the eye can see theres only trees trees like a bright green sea and im up there kinda high and im awed im loveign it for the first time since i got there i was loving china since i went there its like the greatest place on earth the buetiful mountins coverin trees and just so beautiful i love it its like with all those trees i was home .. well i wanted to stay up there forever but the monkey decided they wanted to go further up the wall omg wtf weve been a long long way to have to climb and so before they go they take soem pictures of us and we take some of them (they use our camera to photo us we use theres to photo them)ok well then they leave and were thinking about it were pretty tired by now but they just go and run up like damn little monkeys lol well we tyr to follow them then its gets tought .. no joke everything before was easy compared to this the wall goes up at a incrediblly steep angle so steep that they put stairs there .. to bad they arent there anymore no my freind all thats left is rubble meaning more rocks to dodge climb on and have slide out from under your feet as you try to follow whats left of a path we go on like this going up for about a quater mile woah we have to stop for air quite a few times and just before we rach the top ( next out post) we have to rest for a long time my legs just gave out when i got there i couldnt use the muscles in my leg at all if i had fallen down i could not ahve gotten up well i go and lay down on the railing to the wall we are like 20 feet up right now and were jsut laying there over trees if we roll over we fall into the trees ... did i say 20 feet down lol i meant about 20 feet to the tree topswitch were so thick they seem like the ground yah well we camp oout there for lik 20 min untill we can get our breath back so we climb up the rest of the way to this ruined outpost and its nothing but a flat platform no wall no doors nothing left but a platform flat man oh and its quite windy here now ok we go up there take a lil breather i carve my mark in the soft stone and we go up again only my dad goes with out me at first so i can have a lil more time to breath well we go up to the next outpost not that far from the last one not much here either but its here that we meet up with the monkeys again they say they are going to this place way out there another out post with a second story well they go off and after alittle bit of talk we decide were up to it we go out there and its allright for a little while then we have to go up again oh god more climbing more stepping up my legs are creaming at me but we keep going this is like a lil bit shoter than a anothet quarter mile but its no less steep the the other one well after a ton off climbing stopping breathing resting we get up there did i mention the monkeys gave us drinks yah good of them we would have passed out without them ok well we get up there and theyve found a way to the second story again wtf im looking around and for the life of me i cant figure out how they got up there but then i see the small ple of bricks against the spot where not only is there two perfectly place foot holds but the top of the second floor has a crater in it right there making it lower that you have to climb ok well we got up there and wow this is like the highest there is we are proud then we look off and we see this huge mountain about a mile off and the monkeys decide theres gonna go there the wall leade up there too but its completly deteriorated in soem spots leaving nothing but a huge pile of tiny rock well we decide to let them go we watch them from this out post for aways then we decide they are crazy so we stay awhile longer catching our ever elusive breath and then decide to start back to home when we run into problem number one theres a good way up but not a good way down oi well somehow im not sure how we got down from there wondering how they hell the monkeys did it well we get down and start down again it must be a mile back to where we were when we got off of the main part of the wall well we start out our leggs arent screamign anymore ... they are only sluggishly pulling them selves well we go awhile and my legs wont go anymore so i rest it must have taken 10 to 12 more of these rest before i even got close to the main part of the wall dads way ahead of me by now yah it really says soemthing about your fitness when your 43 year old dad is outdistance you and youre 17 years old oi i felt sooooo weak any way i get up to the main part of the wall eventually by now weve left poor viv
waiting for like 2 hours and when i manage to climb up the spiked fence and i wallcling around the ledge and get back in the outpost i find that ive left the binoculars behind oi i lmost had to go back and get them yah that would have been rough im about to die of exhaustion but we get someone to toss the bicnoculers back up to us thank god well my dad goes on ahea to find viv i try to follow him for a ways but before wecan get back to the gondala ( cuz i cant walk) i get this feeling like im going to vomit and my heart hurts so i jsut sit down for a while and ppl are walkign by me looking at me like im crazy i want to yell at them i walked farther than you ever did but i dont know how to say it in chinese so i jsut decide to gasp for air insteadwitch was alot more helpfull lol well i climb/ drag myself the rest of the way back to the gondola and i remember ... dads said hes not going to ride it so i call viv on her cell and ask what were gonna do cuz i cant walk the rest of the way i would die lol and dad will not ride in the gondola viv tells dad that even if they do leave me here to ride the gondola by myself that they dont know the way to the the cable car stop without rideint it to it well dad insits hes not going to ride it and sp vivs come down with me to ride the gondola cuz shes tired too (not as much as us but she had to wait for us two hours)well this is good cuz i dont have the tickets she does ooo0h well she rides it back with em and dad walks now vivs a bit mad at dad cuz he wouldnt ride the gondola and noones knows how to get to our taxi driver fromt he way hes going well we ride the gondola and we get to the other end of the cable and were there waiting for dad so he calls awhile later and tells us he doesnt know how to get to where we are lol viv doesnt look surprised ... but she dont look happy either well after much ado we find that we will call the taxi driver( qu pronounced chu)and see if he can find dad so they hang up and ... his number isnt on vivs cell oi so she calls dad and asks him to give her the number well noone has a pen so viv gets a rock and scrapes it on the pavement worked ok really but dad gave her the wrog number found that out after she tried to call dad about 10 times but he dint awnser for soem reason well idk remmeber what hapened after that i decided to take a nap well about an hour after we got off the gondola we get a call from qu that hes coming to pick us up so we go across the street and then he picks us up and its the end of an aventure everyone lives happily ever after right ? ... wrong viv is mad at dad for him refusing o ride on the gondola and not listenig to her when she said its going to be a ton of trouble so the whole ride home was preety quiet viv said she wanted space and shes gonna pick up some stuff from the new apartment (whered she just moved all her stuff to from the apartment in tonjo) and stay at her apartment in tonjo (wheres theres nothing cuz wemoved it all out)well this doesnt go well with dad who says that he has to go get some milk and were out of beer so he gets some of that too so the taxi driver srops him off then he drops viv and i off at the new apartment where viv gets some of her clothes her cell charger and some contact soulution well im still tired and kinda hungry now so i made some ramen noodles and before there even done and viv can get out of the house my dad walks in with the beer and he puts in the fridge and asks why the door was left open i tell him cuz viv hasnt left yet well this makes him go to his room and go to the bathroom in there i guees so he doesnt see viv a short while later viv leaves and i sit and have a talk with my dad over ramen and beer (im eating ramen ... hes eating bag after bag of texas style bar b q chips) well we take for alopng time about viv and whts going on i dont say much cuz ... i dont agree with dad ( he was being self centered..) and i dont agree with viv (my dad can be an ass get over it ) so after that long silence somehow it gets brought up that the online school isnt going so well i tel him my mom told me that he had already bought tickets for me to go back on the 12th omfg urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr well we get into this really long talk about why i dont want to go back and why i want to stay here were like talking for hours and he says that im going to get a highschool education ( wtf i was never gonna drop out) and that if i go to the online school its gonna be harder cuz ill have to take more clases cuz they dont accept my summer school credits urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr he says my options are take the really hard summer school every day and maye finish in 12 monthes staright or go to school in houston staying with my mom or go to school in st louis staying with him really to me they all sound like crap i mean wtf is the point of living inchina if im gonna spend another year in the us and the more hard work really doesnt sound good at all so i decide that the only way i could ever live with my mother is if i have a way to get away from her ie a car yah cuz last time she kicked me out (she kicked me out for playing on the computer wtf she dint even need the comp)i had to wait for like 3 hours for my dad to pick me up ( really wasnt that bad i was in my tree .... that they tore down now ... *tear*) well my dad will be in stlouis so if she kicks me out i will have nowhere to go no place to stay and NOTHING TO DO ABOUT IT EXCEPT BEG WIHT MY MOM FOR HOURS TO LET ME BACK IN NOT GONNA HAPPEN so i think ill be ableto get a car if i stay here ( most likely gonna happen grrrrrrr) and i also told him that my mom has no interenet connection or phone line so i have to have a way to conteact my freinds so ionno either cell phone or labtop with interenet ascess somehow .. ionno so yah all thats gonna have to happen other wise its gonna be a living hell plus my dad said he would talk to my mom a talk he said he should have had a long time ago telling her that respect is a two way street if she respects me i will respect her back and that in a little while ill be 18 and i dont have to see anyone i dont wanna see well i dont ever think that anything could be fixed to the point where i couldlive with my mother but i think that if i have a car i can get a job and just never be home always be somewhere else with freinds hopefully that way i dont have to be around her (man i wish i could have a motorcycle hey maybe ill get one i hope so ) but yah ionno alot of crap and we talked like that for several hours and he said that were a long ways from home this confused me (im like where the fuk is home? its not a house anymore its not a state its not a city ive realized by now that no matter where i go i will pretty much be miserable so iguess that means no homes eh ?) well he says heodeosnt know anymore and that beijing had become a second home for him since viv is here i said i was hoping that this could be my only/last home hesaid that since hes gonna be allover the sate that doesn tmake much sense if hes gonna be allover the state not much makes sense and that where the convo ended well then i went in and started typing this and putting up the pics from today oknow yall are like omg robert this has gone on forever pls tell me that the day is over now umm well wish i could but no half way through writing this viv starts calling alot idk wtf shes saying cuz im here typing well after a few calls dad tells me to listen to the door for viv ( the door bell sounds almost exactly like a phone) ok well the phone ringe and i think that vivs at the door and i go check it and see thorugh the peephole that she is here so i open the door and find that shes standing outside the door calling us so i stare at her for a second and no knowing anything better to do close the door (since she had made no move to enter) well when i close the door dad commes up behind me looking confused did viv come he said im liek wel its looks like her his like did you open the door im liek yah hes liek why is she still out ther im like nothing happened hes like nothing happened wtf so he opens the door and tell viv to come in they are talkign for awhile so i decide to get back to this and i do then i go back and i see that now the door is closed i think that viv must have left i go over and see that not only is viv here but shes hugging dad so ok well i guess it is a happy ending unless that sound i jsut heard is viv leaving dads room and going out ... goodnight yall oi and if you read this whole goddamn long thing you are my new best freind lol
