First of all, I bag your pardon if my english is not correct, because it's not my first language.

i was really surprised when i saw yesterday the article about Duvall and canadian actors.

I'm a Sir Michael Caine's brother in law, from Spain, and a good friend of Mr. Robert Duvall.I have the oportunity to talk with him this morning (by phone) and he didn't know anything about that subject.
It seems everything was a miss-understanding .
Yes, he recognized he was asked (in a press conference) about the experience of working with canadian actors, but he never said nothing of what Calgary's newspapers said.
A proof of that "without sense-article" is that just two years before, it was Duvall who puropsed NIck Cassavetes to film "John Q"(2002)(co-starring Denzel Washington) in Canada, after the good experience Mr. Duvall had had when shooting the Scarlet Letter (as Demi Moore's husband).

Read that article, and you will understand why it's just unbeliavable to hear Duvall's saying these kind of things about canadian actors.
I just invite you to think about what you have commented about Duvall. In my opinion,one of the most recognized Hollywood actors doesn't deserve that critics(as canadian actors would not deserve it also, of course).
