My first car: 1988 Dacia 1310 Break
Since I started to get a grip on what a car really is, probably sometimes in 1981, until late May 2000, I built my driving and mechanic skills on a very simple and obsolete car: Dacia, the Romanian Renault 12.
A 1988 Dacia Break is what I call "my first car".

Probably I will never sell this one. It belonged to my father, actually, the last car he owned. On such a car I learned the good sense of a DIY mechanic, and all this expertise will surely be of great help in managing with whatever car I will own from now on. I even passed my driving license exam driving this car!
My Dacia has a simple 4 cylinder 1397cc engine that yields a merely 65HP. Still, it fits excellent with the harsh winter days and the tough roads here in Romania.
Cheap to maintain, but a it requires a lot of time to be spend working on the engine and suspension.

Still, it's not the car that would steal a girl's heart while driving downtown. On the contrary :)
Not exactly a problem anymore, since
