Dear prospective employer:

I can highly recommend Robert as an effective and enthusiastic teacher. He taught at our center from January 2002 to the end of April 2003. We are sorry to see him go, but understand that he is serious about leaving to get teaching certification that can further his career. It was pleasant to work with him.

He was helpful in providing students with needed practice in speaking while always helpful in explaining grammar whenever requested. It was a relief to be able to rely on him to take extra classes, to shift class times when required, to know that he would, if required, show up without much notice.

He was resourceful in that he created a business English course and provided us with some useful new materials which we will be using in the coming years. He is creative and thoughtful by nature, it seems to me. He can either teach grammar lessons, do direct reading work, elicit discussion, stimulate game-playing, or get students to sing along with him.

He is intelligent, in that he can teach both college-level business material and also clarify solutions to problems in language for students. He is always eager to learn and clearly likes to work with people. He was useful in doing some interpreting on occasion and proved himself fluent in Russian on many an occasion.

I do not doubt that you will enjoy working with him and only can wish him the best.
