Yet to be worked on but, with his parents permission I would like to put in here my memories of the guy that was one of two. My two nephews that I knew almost from birth, watched grow and spent time with whilst on holiday in New Zealand, and when they visited me in Sydney with their parents. Jessie was no ordinary boy ...but I will go into that at a later stage...just hang in there. (Jessie is the younger of the boys {one on the right}) Whilst playing with a friend in Mangawai he was crushed by sand on the 26th November 1999. This caused alot of personal grief for his parents, brother and the rest of the family. A terrible shock for all of us. It is always someone elses family that this happens to not ours. We have all blamed ourselves thinking if we hadn't, maybe if we'd. But nothing can change what happened as he was an 11 year old boy playing with his mate in the sand and he died enjoying life.
