Now what has happened in the past few years, this is always hard to work out and make interesting for those who read it. so I might just think about it for a little while and then see what we come up with. well my trip to Auckland was in style my younger brother used his air points and got me a first class ticket back to Auckland, he met me at the airport and I stayed with him and his wife for 3 months. I pushed my body to the limit and ended up in hospital for a week things didn't look good there for a while,& the doctors were worried, but I survived and then took a short break staying with my younger sister in Whangarei. My first job back in New Zealand was with the Australian Consulate here in Auckland dealing with visa's to Australia. I was on a short contract and ended up working for just over three months. After that it seemed dificult to find a job but eventually found one through the internet via a friend whom had seen a note stating that there were jobs going at one of the gay sauna's. I applied for the job and ended up getting it and working odd days or should I say nights. I increased my hours and now am working just on 54 hours a week six nights. It seems that most of my customers enjoy having me there behind the counter and they come in and have coffee and chat and catch up on what has been happening in their lifes. Fortunately I don't see my bosses that offen even tho they like to ring on a almost daily basis to check on things. I am known as the senior employee and help with the training of new staff. Alot of people think that all we do is wash towels and take money at the counter but it ends up that we spend alot of time talking to customers and advising them on a variety of things. From relationships ( which I have had a little bit of experience) work, where to find venues and which is the best venue to attend. Just general things like what should I do's and how do I's. I have made alot of good friends from working at the sauna and enjoy going out dancing with some of them. I have been invited out for dinner at some of their places and offen we go out dancing in the weekends. I am not like some of the other staff I don't sleep around and don't spend my time cruising the sauna. I find that it makes life difficult if you have had a sexual encounter with a customer and then the next night they are there again, so I gave that up years ago. I do spend time of the internet chatting or playing on this web page. I enjoy chatting and meeting new friends. I have off the net meet some very nice people, it hasn't been for sex I arrange to meet them for coffee and then if something happens from there well then be it. This has only happened twice. Once I had a guy from Sydney come and stay whom I had been talking to off the net and he came to visit whilst spending christmas with his family. The other was Damien. The day I met Damien we seemed to hit it off straight away, he said he would be back to see me at work later that night and then everyday from then on he would come into work and spend time just sitting there talking to me. We watched movies after work and then went home mainly he went home to his place and I to mine. Things went well for a while until he texted me to say we need to talk, I knew what was about to happen. So then it was all over, he opened apart of me that had been closed for years and then walked. We are still friends and talk offen. But the feelings have changed, it isn't easy for me to turn things off but I am trying and am happy with the friendship. Well as I have said I am still working at the sauna, I am now 37. Still short and still live in Auckland. I moved from my brothers to Greenlane with a friend I have know for over 20 years, things were good there for a while his ex lived with us and Jerry and I became friends quite quickly. But Jerry found living in the house a bit to much for him so he moved to a house on the shore with whom other but an ex of our flatemate Nigel. I moved out of the heart of the city to the inner city suburbs, with a guy that works as a plumber. I don't get to see much of him as he works days and I nights, the house is great and homely, I have been working in the gardens ( not that there were any. This is what I have been working on) My sister and her husband have been giving me plants for the garden, which has been a help and a saving. |
