To prospective High School/College/Professional baseball ball players and their parents:First and foremost, let me state I have no credentials, no baseball playing experience, or coaching experience. I do have two sons playing baseball, one in High School, the other in College. My biggest beef is hearing Our High School Coach didnt help us. My first question is what did YOU do?? Have you been READING HSBASEBALLWEB.COM?!!! IT IS FREE! If you as players AND parents would do this, follow the timeline, read the articles, browse the message boards, post questions and then follow through, I could stop writing here. Some coaches will help alot, others have no clue. IT IS YOUR FUTURE!! Write an introduction letter to the College Coach. BE SURE YOU KNOW HIS NAME, and remember coaches change jobs. There are example letters for you to follow in Players & Parents. . Click on RECRUITING TIPS & "HOW TO" Loaded with information, advice and reference material to make achieving the goal (playing at the next level) easier. "Click" on the link to go to the series of information that you want to read or print out for future reference. Make a point to pass the information along to other players, coaches and friends. And the ALL IMPORTANT Recruiting Timeline
Maybe the most important information on this web site.

That is just ONE page of links to TONS of FREE information!! If you are wondering should we showcase? BE SURE to read the Editorials What Do I Do Now? My high school coach doesn't know what to do and my summer coach doesn't seem to care by: Tom Rizzi, College Select Baseball Bubba's Baseball Bonanza Showcase by: Bubba, Somewhere in the REALLY deep south, (ok this one is for a laugh, but you really do have to do your RESEARCH!) I applaud Bob Howdeshell for making and continuing www.hsbaseballweb.com . Bobs youngest son is finishing his senior year of college at ETSU. He provides the site FREE for you and me and over 3000 members who post on the messages boards, and another 5000 or so that just come and read. I have personally met Bob, and a dozen or so other members from around the county. It is really fun to go to a Asheville Tourist game, and OPPs son, is pitching, (Zack Duke, Hickory Crawdads) and the next day he thanks you again online, for cheering for him. Or go to a tournament/state games/state championship with a www.hsbaseballweb.com T-shirt on and have people introduce themselves. ALL THIS FOR FREE! So what are you waiting for??? HSBASEBALLWEB.COM |
