| Boeing 727 / 256. I was very lucky to have the chance of flying this plane during years 1997/98/99. After that it was retired in 2001 from the Iberia fleet after 30 years of succesful and heavy duty, about 50.000 flying hours per unit. Some of the 27 retired units will be dismantled for spares and others will be sold to another airlines companies to fly in less demanding airspaces about noise levels requirements than Europe. |

| Boeing 747 200 and 300 seires. This is my present office. I started flying it in 2000 and I hope I'll keep on doing it until 2004, then Iberia plans to retire this excellent aircraft. Due to its enormous size, weight and inertias, when you fly it you think you are inside a transatlantic boat. It is a big superfortress, lots of engines (4), redundant systems and robust airframe award the 747 an extremely high safety operation. You can notice the 300 series is powered by different engines and the fuselage shape is different than the 200's. |
