| Great pattern aerobatic F3A plane. It is a PL PROD kit (France) and Wolfgang Matt design. I have powered it by YS 140 L, 4 stroke supercharged fuel system engine. The fuselaje is made by kevlar/carbon fibers and thin foam layers with honeycomb formers and trays. The wings and stabs are low density foam core sheeted by a extremely light balsa. Its low weight 4.5 kg in a large plane 2X2 m. awards the Larimar an outstanding aerobatic performance, low and constant speed, good climbing capability, low noise level due to the low throttle flying settings. The well balanced design permits a high stability and handling combination. |
