My airplanes
Fivol II
A very popular aerobatic plane in Spain. Design and kit by Jose Anguera. It worked really well during 94/95/96/97. In that period I got the Spain champion title flying two Fivols, one powered by O.S. 61 Hanno Special and the other by a Y.S. 120 SF which improved even more its aerobatic performance.
I chose the Fivol II for the World F3A Champs. at Japan in 1995 where I did my best with that plane.
It is a balsa wood airplane, foam core wings sheeted in balsa. That made a really stiff frame that other fiberglass fuselages didn't enjoy. It confered a vibration absorbing quality that lowered the engine noise radiation level.
All pictures were taken during the Spain National F3A Championships in 1995 held in Algeciras.
